Minimally Invasive Veneers

Lumineers

What Are Lumineers?

Lumineers are digitally-designed veneers that cover your existing tooth, giving you a naturally white smile. These veneers are ultra-thin and applied directly over your teeth without the need for extensive preparation.

Measuring approximately 0.2 mm, Lumineers are translucent and designed to replicate your tooth’s enamel, leaving you with a smile that looks and feels natural. These one-of-a-kind products typically last up to 20 years and do not require you to avoid certain foods and drinks.

How Does The Process Of Placing Lumineers Work?

It takes two different appointments to complete the process of transforming your smile with Lumineers. During the first office visit, Dr. Jacinto makes an impression of both your upper and lower teeth. He also may examine your teeth and address any issues, such as cavities or decay. These impressions are sent to an authorized Lumineer laboratory, where your custom veneers are created.

In a few weeks, your Lumineers are completed and your second appointment is scheduled. During this visit, Dr. Jacinto bonds your Lumineers. Before bonding them, he places the veneers on your teeth to ensure the correct fit. If the fit is good, Dr. Jacinto etches each tooth to prepare it, then bonds the veneer to the tooth. Once the Lumineers are securely in place, he checks the bite and overall fit. The whole process typically takes about an hour.
